Bless me Father for I have sinned...............
So...........

Last night at Miss Kitty's was my friend Phil's birthday for which Jennifer and I dressed as Catholic schoolgirls. Hand to God, Jennifer looked exactly like Dominique Swain did in the remake of Lolita (only with much bigger tits.) We had quite a laugh from the moment we stepped out of the car and as we were walking, a random older gentlemen stopped his car as we were ready to step onto the crosswalk and yell "So cute!" We had cleverly concocted a lethal vodka and fruit punch mixture that we imbibed most of after we parked so as to save money on purchasing liquor once we got there. And to save more money, we also had to make an unexpected trip to the nearby liquor store to purchase a can of food for the food drive they were having and we happily did it in lieu of paying a ten dollar cover. The people in the liquor store had quite a giggle over two "schoolgirls" quarreling over which cans of food to buy--I wanted to buy a can of tuna fish but Jennifer said "Hey, people don't eat that as a meal" and I said "Well I do!" which, sadly, is true. We came back with our cans, went in, and were greeted by FOUR more Catholic schoolgirls and a "Father" who were all there for Phil's birthday. Apparently, he had asked all of his friends to wear schoolgirl outfits. One schoolgirl looked a little suspicious as she had a beard and mustache--so funny--a short Englishman in a schoolgirl outfit complete with wig and the "Father" Scott was also an Englishman and 48--quite a perv--couldn't figure out if he's gay or straight but he seemed to fancy me (of course--he's 48! Natch!) Phil arrived shortly after we all met and we had quite a ball--I bought him a birthday beer, and everyone else bought him about 70 more drinks in total, the Father bought me a tequila shot, and I flashed Ms Kitty for a jello shot for the opening contest, had another good sound spanking onstage--you know, same old, same old. The next few hours are a little hazy but a lovely gentlemen in an SS hat and a chainmail shirt with leather pants helped me find my purse when I had misplaced it.

After Ms Kitty's closed, we were cordially invited by Phil to the afterparty at the Basement, which I had always wanted to check out. Jennifer wasn't feeling too groovy by this point (she was a little drunk, and the Father had dropped her on her head when they were dancing AND she had twisted her ankle) so after we got back to our car, we stopped at Del Taco to give her some non-alchololic sustenance, and made our way over to the "back alley where the party was at"--sounds a little fishy, doesn't it? But it was cool--people were congregated outside and I soon met up with Phil again only after I had been a very bad friend and had given Jennifer my keys to go back to the car to get her id that she had accidentally left in there. So I had essentially let her wander back alone in West Hollywood, in a schoolgirl outfit with a twisted ankle, drunk, with a half-eaten burrito still in her hand. Some friend I am! So Phil and I tried to relocate her but came to the correct conclusion that she had probably already gotten back to the club. When we caught up to her, she was really happy to see us and come to find out, the guy she was being chatted up by was actually the "best friend" of a guy she is dating who actually said to her OUT LOUD "You know, X is my best friend and I would never do anything to hurt him, but do want to get out of here with me?" WWWWHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT!!!???!!! Men are idiots. Anyway, Phil and Jen and I had a blast socializing with all the weirdo, groovy people in this very strange looking place--had a lovely chat with a transvestite for part of the evening but on the complete reverse side of the spectrum, I also chatted with a fellow who basically was wearing an ensemble my dad would wear and who had to have been in his mid-60s--so random. But all good things must come to an end and Phil walked us out to our car and said goodnight and we managed to get home in one piece--luckily I had sobered up but it was about 4:45 am when we came in. I have actually really officially woke up around 2 pm--how LA is that? I'm one of the reasons why there is no traffic in Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday mornings--everyone parties way too late the night before and I'm now one of them! Now I must find absolution for last night's sins and say twelve Hail Mary's and two Hello Dolly's..........
