Oh Phil...........
So someone last night gave me the most intuitive and unusual compliment last night. This gentleman said to me,"You know, you have the confidence and air of a well-traveled, worldly man who has had many lovers over the years but who is now looking for something real and tangible." This really gave me the chills because in a very strange way, I feel exactly like that.
Actually, it was Mr G, who I had a really wonderful date with. He insisted on picking me up (lovely), we went to Canters Kibbits for a drink, and then after a passionate mini-makeout session, we went into the Derby to see a burlesque show of which we are both quite fond and this show was particularly fabulous as it had the main acts all going on first which made us feel good about our plan to leave early (wink;). So he took me home, we made out like teenagers again in the car, and then went inside. We didn't "go all the way" but it was absolutely smoldering hot and I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing him on Saturday night after my photo shoot. He just really "gets" me--our conversations about music and movies and what we like about people and our attitudes are so wonderful AND he is completely smitten with me and I haven't really ever had a man act this way toward me since Kenji. We both are not sure of where this is going but we both KNOW absolutely that we will always be friends regardless. Oh and he also had me read his lyrics from a few songs that he's written--FUCKING amazing. He is really, honestly extremely talented--I was kind of nervous to read them at first but I was able to tell him absolutely that they were brilliant and very touching.
So I'm going out tonight with the fabulous Kristopher Young and we have our usual plan of raising hell in WeHo--should be fun! Something about a drag show at Rage so I'm going to have to wear something extra fabulous!
